The Song That Never Ends...

"Day and night they never stop saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” Revelation 4:8

Today is the first day of October, which signifies a new beginning of a new month. We are officially in the last quarter of 2017, and I want to encourage you to finish strong! For the month of October, I am going to focus on worship. Before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season really starts to set in, I challenge you to fix your heart and mind on Jesus.

Revelation 4:8 gives us a picture of 24/7/365 worship that goes on in Heaven. The angels literally sit at the feet of God and worship Him all day every day. Now, for most of us, we have lives to maintain, jobs to fulfill, etc., and cannot physically sit on our knees in worship all day everyday. However, our lives can be in a posture of worship if we are intentional about it

Worship is not just about singing songs. It is about honoring God with our entire being, all day, every day. We worship God in our finances, our friendships, our jobs, our ministries, our prayer lives, our extracurricular activities, in our health, our words, conversations, thoughts, etc.

Our worship is not based on feelings and circumstances, it is based on who God is. No matter what you face this week, may your response be a resounding, "Holy, holy, holy." When you wake up on the morning, before you check all of your social media pages, hop out of bed, and rush to your to-do list, just stop and say out loud "Holy, holy, holy." When things go right, and when things do not go according to your plans, say "Holy, holy, holy."

God is the Great Equalizer in this thing we call life, and the One constant in a world of chaos. May worship not only remain on your lips as you go about this week, but may your life reflect a posture of worship. As you worship, may divine peace and thankfulness rush over you like refreshing waters of a waterfall. "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come."

Peace and Blessings!
